Modern communication means become more and more popular. On streets, if we hear the Beeper sound, it is no longer surprising to notice the sound ringing from a middle school student. Moreover, the scene that a student with a school bag is talking through a mobile phone also becomes common, especially among college students.
There are two reasons for this phenomenon. On one band, mobile phones are much cheaper than before. Some students with a good economic background can afford the machine and the service charge. Besides, it is really convenient for parents to contact their children. On the other hand, owning a little phone is a certain kind of fashion. The young are going after it by nature. So students love it and will try to get one to demonstrate his modernity.
No one can stop the spread of mobile phones, for after all it is one of the signs of a modem society. But students should have a clear mind on how to use it. It ought to be a useful assistant but not a trouble-maker.
